Earlier this month the Art Department organised for our Year 11 photography students to travel to London for a location shoot in preparation for their controlled assignment (exam) at some of London’s most inspiring train stations. We arrived at Euston where there was ample opportunities for students to capture interesting photographs of the crowds and movement around the station. We then went on to St Pancras International where we were able to experiment with some creative photography involving the architecture of this iconic building.
Just a reminder to everyone that we finish for the Easter break on Friday 31st March. This is a normal school day. We return to College on Tuesday 18th of April 2017, and all students are expected to attend College on that day.
Please note that the 18th of April is not a training day for students. If students do not attend College on this day, this will be recorded as an unauthorised absence.
Tuesday 28th March from 6.30pm in the Drama studio
As part of the BTEC Music course our Year 10 students are completing a until of work on ‘Managing a product’. As part of this they have to create, plan, promote and appraise their own concert. The concept behind the concert is the ‘Dead Legends Live Lounge’. It will include a little something from those musicians who are no longer with us (from classical to pop and everything in between) but most importantly they will be showcasing the musical talent here at KC.
