Wow, what a night! For the first ever international Harry Potter Book Night we held a special celebration in the library for over 60 students. Our students were treated to a very special evening of Harry Potter based activities and games along with a special reading of The Philosopher’s Stone.
The Art Department was offered a fantastic opportunity for our A Level Art & Design students to attend a life drawing workshop at Northampton University.
We were first given a tour of the Fine Art & Photography departments allowing the opportunity to see current students’ work in progress as well as see the facilities they offer. We then went on to the Drawing Lab for our life drawing session. This was the first time our students had experienced drawing from a nude model and they all approached this professional classical discipline with maturity and enthusiasm.
