Last week our Year 11 photography students went on a location shoot to Pitsford and Brampton Station in Northamptonshire. The station which closed in 1981 has now been revived as the headquarters of the heritage railway called the Northampton & Lamport Railway.
Earlier this month the Art Department organised for our Year 11 photography students to travel to London for a location shoot in preparation for their controlled assignment (exam) at some of London’s most inspiring train stations. We arrived at Euston where there was ample opportunities for students to capture interesting photographs of the crowds and movement around the station. We then went on to St Pancras International where we were able to experiment with some creative photography involving the architecture of this iconic building.
Just a reminder to everyone that we finish for the Easter break on Friday 31st March. This is a normal school day. We return to College on Tuesday 18th of April 2017, and all students are expected to attend College on that day.
Please note that the 18th of April is not a training day for students. If students do not attend College on this day, this will be recorded as an unauthorised absence.
