GCSE Exams success

After celebrating the best A level results on record at Kingsthorpe College last week, the College is delighted to also have achieved its best ever GCSE results this summer.  Standards have risen in all performance measures with the College particularly pleased with the continued improvement of students achieving the very highest grades.  This summer, a school’s performance is to be judged using new criteria and early indications are that Kingsthorpe College have excelled on the most important measure of progress.  On average, students at the College achieve almost half a grade better than they would at other schools, and this reflects the College’s ethos of academic, athletic, and artistic excellence for all.  Whilst congratulations go to all students, the following students have done particularly well and deserve a special mention:

  • Ayesha Patel 2A*s, 8As
  • Amalia Rawsthorne-Gane 2A*s, 4As, 4Bs, 2Cs
  • Sascha Singh 2A*s, 7As, 2Bs, 1C
  • Husam Uddin 5A*s, 7As, 1B

  • Hannah Webster 3A*s, 5As, 3Bs
