Year 11 Photography Trip to Coventry Transport Museum

Earlier this week the Art Department took our Year 11 Photography students to Coventry Transport Museum for a location shoot in preparation for their exams this year. Coventry Transport Museum houses the largest publicly owned collection of British vehicles in the world, and tells the fascinating story of Coventry and its people through the rise and fall of its biggest industry.
We travelled by coach and on arrival at the museum students were able to explore and photograph all areas, from the earliest bicycles and cars through to modern racing cars.  It is a very well curated museum with much to inspire our work.  Students were encouraged to take photographs from a creative viewpoint, experimenting with camera angles, close-ups, texture, reflections and abstract composition.
